Two kinds of money scams in Cambodia that Cambodian met
Money scams are not only crossing countries but also happening inside the country. Both during and after the pandemic, scammers targeted Cambodians, particularly through social media. While there are a variety of scams, this article will focus on two specific examples. Pen-producing workers There was an account on social media posting that they needed local people, staying in Phnom Penh and in provinces, to work as pen producers. They stated that they had all the necessary parts for the pens and only required individuals to assemble them. Furthermore, they asserted that individuals could perform this task from their homes.
