Can a natural disaster be a chance to be rich for the online content creator?

November 2025 appeared to be a season of disasters for Asia. These disasters include floods, wildfires, and landslides. However, the news, including on TV and social media, discussed the problem, the casualty, and the helpers, but no one mentioned how to prevent it or protect against it.

It’s not new. These disasters occur annually, yet victims continue to suffer while the government seems to be making slow progress in addressing these issues. Especially during the internet and AI era, individuals who are not directly affected by the disaster often enjoy posting on social media or creating content to discuss it, showcasing their sad expressions or tears.

From a business perspective, this behavior is beneficial and effective because it generates revenue for those involved. If we look at it from the perspective of humanity, it’s not good.

But is this the only way? Can we combine these two together? It is possible to integrate business and humanity simultaneously.

For, for instance, flood. If you are a content creator:

- Can you think of a way to help prevent the flood?

- Can you think of a method to remove the water more quickly?

- Can you build it, film the sample, and then share it on online platforms?

This type of content is more beneficial than merely sitting in front of a camera to talk and cry, and currently, no one else is producing it.

Therefore, a period of disaster can provide an opportunity to gain recognition, achieve fame, and accumulate wealth, particularly if you possess knowledge and a genuine desire to help people and society.
