Cleanliness is a key to success too
There were two people. Both of them owned a building. They made their own building into small rooms for rent. One at a low price and one at a higher price. However, the higher-priced building got more customers than the low-priced one. The owner of the low-price building wondered, so he went to have a chit-chat with the customers of the high-priced building and took a chance to ask for their opinions. The customers said they chose to rent a room in the high-priced building because it was clean. Not only the room but also the whole building. Starting from the gate, stairs, balcony, and the room. All things in the building were not new or modern but clean and tidy.
The same, there was a cloth store. The clothes were beautiful, well designed, and made of good fabric, and the price was acceptable, but there were fewer customers. The owner thought it might be because their product was not a famous brand name, but the fact was the customers didn’t like the physical store. They complained that there was dirt on the floor, tables, chairs, and even on the clothes. Moreover, the store was hot and had a bad smell. When they got in, they found it hard to breathe, and some got a cough after coming back home. Some said that most of the clothes had stains even though they were in garment bags. Though the stains were removable, it was unacceptable for them, who paid money but got unclean clothes.
Well, these are some examples about ‘the clean.’ So, if you own a business, please pay attention to all: quality, package, service, and cleanliness.
