'If it is hard to find, make it harder to find.'
I liked to think like this because I never found something I wanted to find.
Like now, I wanted to find key to lock my box. And I forgot where I had put the key.
I left my house to work in Phnom Penh for 3 years. During these years, I did not visit hometown even once. I just came yesterday.
Today, my family all went to attend funeral of the monk. He was the famous monk in my village. He passed away this morning. The villagers mourned him. They all went to pagoda. Only me and Aki, dog, did not attend such big event.
Aki had a date with female widow living next house.
And I was busy to find the key box.

Make-love in Rain

written by Chakriya PHOU

The rain was falling.
A boy was sitting under the tree. next to him was younger boy.
Next to younger boy, it was another boy, smaller than younger boy.
After the smaller boy, there was a girl, about first boy’s size. She was carrying a baby, about 6 months old.
All of them wet.
The girl covered her little brother with scarf. Then she looked at a bush was not far from the tree.
Over there, there was chatting.
‘Are you sure?’ female’s voice.
‘Yes. The fortune teller told husband and wife that own the shop to have kid next year, they will become millionaire. I already searched. Husband’s birthday is the same as mine. And wife’s is the same as yours.’ man’s voice.
‘Then hurry up.’ female’s voice.
The rain stopped.
Kids saw their parents came out of the bush. Mother took baby from daughter and carried him on waist.
Father was limping man, walking to road junctions, followed by wife, sons and daughter.
They knocked cars’ windows stopped at red light for asking money.
