“Pig, you said you are a writer. Where do you write your pieces?”
“During these years, I publish my writing online.”
“Is it hard or easy?”
“No, it is not easy.”
“Can you tell me the difficulty you are meeting while writing online?”
“There are many, but the main issue is copyright infringement.”
“What is it?”
“It is someone who steals the writing.”
“Oh no!” Robert opened his eyes big. “You too?”
“Yes.” I nodded. “I have experienced my writing being stolen.”
“Then what do you do?”
“Before I would be angry, I would go after the one who stole my writing and tell them to remove it or I would curse them. Now, I don’t care anymore.”
“Why?”
“It does not give me benefit for doing it. They still steal no matter what. I feel tired and bored to argue with them, to debate for right and wrong with them, and I am exhausted to be angry at them. It doesn’t make me better but worse - especially my health. Hence I decide to let it go.”
“Are you still writing?”
“Yes, I am.”
“What will you do if someone steals your writing?”
“Like I said, I don’t care. I will continue writing though it is stolen. I will keep carrying on till I think I can’t take it anymore, then I will stop.”
