While waiting six months to arrive, three of us worked like usual in the garden in the daytime. As evening arrived, I wrote a plan to promote the succulent business, and Robert and Crow did something together. I didn’t know what they were doing, and I didn’t ask them because I wanted them to have privacy time.
One night, when I was sitting in the chair in the front yard and typing, Robert came to me.
“Can I borrow your laptop for fifteen minutes?” He said.
“Why do you need my laptop?” I asked.
“I am teaching Crow how to read and write, but there are some words I don’t know, so I want to borrow your laptop to learn online with her.”
“Here you are.” I handed him the laptop. “Tonight I want to take a break. So you can use it as long as you need.”
Robert hurriedly took it and said with a big smile, “Thank you. Thank you.”
